The DIG-AgriTech project was launched to bridge this gap by integrating Generative AI (GenAI) into a mobile app, focusing on improving the user experience for cooperative members.

Vision & Goal:

The goal is to create an intelligent digital platform that simplifies production management, enhances traceability, speeds up certification processes, and boosts data-driven reporting. This platform aims to connect farmers, cooperatives, and regulators, promoting sustainable production and increasing market value.

Key Challenges:

  1. Data Input Complexity: Farmers have low digital literacy and inconsistent internet, making manual data entry difficult.
  2. Voice Interaction Needs: The app relies on voice input, requiring high speech accuracy, support for diverse local accents, and effective noise handling.
  3. Intent Understanding: The system must accurately interpret the farmer’s intent (e.g., reporting harvest vs. requesting a label).
  4. Traceability: Ensuring transparent, verified, and automated reporting for compliance.

Solution Approach (Leveraging GenAI):

DIG-AgriTech used modern GenAI tools (NodeJS, Dify, N8n, LangChain) to address these issues:

  • AI-Enhanced Voice Processing: Advanced speech-to-text engines trained on agricultural terms, tuned for regional accents.
  • Intelligent Intent Recognition: LangChain models accurately detect user intent for multi-step tasks.
  • Automated Data Structuring: AI converts unstructured voice input into standardized production logs for traceability and compliance.
  • Seamless Automation: Dify & N8n automate record updates, label applications, and report generation.

Key Outcomes & Long-Term Vision:

The project delivers enhanced productivity, transparent traceability, and higher digital adoption through voice-first interaction. The long-term vision is to create a trusted ecosystem connecting all stakeholders (Farmers, Cooperatives, Government) to accelerate Vietnam’s digital transformation, fostering sustainable production and higher economic value for local produce.
